Crazylibellule and the Poppies is a small French company that hit upon a very successful idea of solid perfumes in a stick.
Launched in French Sephora in 2005 'CrazySticks' became an instant success and have finally made their debut in the U.S. The brand name has a quirky vibe to it, “libellule” meaning “dragonfly” in French because “like fragrance, dragonflies delicately hover in the air and then lightly touch down”, and “crazy” references the female proclivity for fantasy and “the Poppies” stand for freedom in nature.
The lack of messiness, travel-and-handbag-appropriate size (perfect for airline travel), and an extremely reasonable price, make the scents very appealing. So appealing are the little delights that they've won their creators several awards and headlined them in some of the most trend driven magazines on the market.
The line consists of three collections, the Les Divines Alcoves (flowery scents), Poule de Luxe (sweet scents), and Shanghaijava (exoctic scents).
